I think it's important to mention that the offenders rarely even know that they're doing it, and sometimes it's as minor as a poor choice of words. The truth is, I'm guilty of it. And more recently than I'd like to admit. But I'm making an honest change at realizing my bad habits and making good of them. I hope others follow suit.

But DZT?! OMFG. Why was he allowed to stay for so long?! I hated that guy. Great player, crappy person. And when it came time to confront him, he denied being sexist and said it was all a joke. He even pulled the "I love women" card. I remember him hanging around for days on the guild site, waiting for someone to bite and reply to his long QQ leaving letter. You are my hero for what you said to him.

Dammit Eris, get in the kitchen and bake me a cake!!! Er... wait... I mean... I LOVE YOU!

Okay, sorry, I had to. Honestly, though, I agree with you completely. I think it's a hard position, and at times we've had people who're blatantly sexist... Remember DZT?! He hated women. More often than not, it's passive sexism. Instructions from men are taken better than from women, and women raid leads (especially) are crucified as the ultimate bitch. Then again, if the two we had are any indication, they ARE the ultimate bitch -- El & Aksana, I mean. El, well, you know how I feel about that, she never treated anyone with respect, male or female, unless they were an officer, and not even then a lot of the time. Aksana was way, way, way too emo -- she made all women look bad, not just female raid leaders. Then there are the people like me, I just dislike everyone until they prove to me they're likable, and there are people in-guild that I just can't stand. I suppose that's to be expected anywhere. I've been labeled humorless bitch a time or two.

"DON'T BREAK THE DAMN SHEEP, LARTHIN!" comes to mind. He took that really well, that makes him likable in my book! Ha!

That's all I wanted to say. <3!!
